Cheyul, meaning "Master of Colors," is a brand that transforms traditional techniques such as lacquerware, cloisonné, mother-of-pearl inlay, wood inlay, gold, and silver into luxury pieces, using a rich variety of textures and colors. The brand's slogan, "Embrace Nature, Reflect Time. Be Jeweled with Time," embodies the idea that rather than fading over time, these pieces grow deeper and shine brighter, offering a lifestyle enriched by Korean heritage.

Founded in 1988, Cheyul was created with a deep respect for preserving and revering Korea's fading history and culture. This box is inspired by Korea's traditional Changho (windows with lattice patterns). With straight lines in both horizontal and vertical directions, evenly spaced bars, and intersecting patterns at right angles, this design reflects the beauty of symmetry and balance. The captivating deep blue hue, reminiscent of the sky, combined with the constant sparkle of mother-of-pearl, makes this piece a standout in Cheyul's modern line. It is a representative work that merges traditional inspiration with contemporary elegance.
