Rooted in traditional craftsmanship while embracing contemporary perspectives, PIAZ explores new identities of objects through material, form, and making, proposing designs that bridge heritage and modern life.

[Description]
The Agijagi Mini Soban is a contemporary reinterpretation of the traditional Korean side table, soban, handcrafted in a compact and artful form. Though small in size, it brings the rhythm and warmth of Korean tradition into any space. Thread-wrapped details inspired by nubi quilting and jogakbo patchwork create delicate, tactile surfaces through repetitive handcrafting techniques.
Designed to balance decoration and functionality, the detachable top reveals a hidden storage compartment lined with soft wool felt, gently cushioning small personal belongings. Each piece is entirely handmade, resulting in unique patterns that enhance its value as a collectible craft object. Versatile in use, it can function as a tea tray, display stand, or decorative pedestal.
