MIMIDAR is a design brand that reinterprets Korean traditional products. We aim to revive the value of traditional design that is often forgotten by the younger generation.

What if MIMIDAR were the chief designer for the Joseon royal family?
This wine stopper was created with the intention of replicating royal objects that the king of Joseon might have used.
Each design and material was carefully selected to offer a dignified gift — a royal-quality design from 600 years ago, fit for a king.

🟡 Key Features
- Motifs are based on patterns embroidered on the clothing of Joseon kings and princesses
- Gonryongpo dragons embroidered on the king’s robes symbolize the noble king
- “Jeok Eui” garments worn by the highest-ranking women of the royal family incorporate the five virtues representing harmony and marital affection
- Phoenix breast patterns on princess garments symbolize prosperity and blessings
- Traditionally, dragons represented kings and phoenixes symbolized the entire universe

- Can be used to reseal a bottle of alcohol after opening
- Delicately carved metal decorations express the beauty of traditional Korean art
- Five raised bumps are designed to fit various bottle sizes and block openings for different alcoholic beverages
- Safety-tested product (SGS) free from hazardous substances; silicone parts and metal top can be cleaned separately
- Gift-ready packaging designed like the open doors of Gyeongbokgung Palace, with the interior reflecting a Joseon king’s office; instructions provided in Korean and English
