AUAG MetalCraft is a brand founded by metalsmith Ahn Min sik, creating high-end sterling silverware that balances artistic expression with everyday functionality. Working primarily with 92.5% sterling silver—often combined with natural materials such as ebony and rosewood—the brand produces handcrafted tableware and functional art objects shaped through traditional raising and forging techniques. Inspired by architectural structures and natural forms, Ahn’s work transforms the cool rigidity of silver into refined, tactile pieces designed to harmonize with daily life.

[Description]
<Seren Jar (靜壺)> is a silver teapot that expresses jeong (靜), a Korean sense of composed stillness shaped by tension and order.
Inspired by the elegant curves of the traditional Korean dawan (tea canister), the piece introduces a vertical handle that adds structural tension and refined proportion. The soft sheen of silver contrasts with the linear clarity of stainless steel, creating a calm yet deliberate interplay of material and light.
The work is crafted using traditional raising and sheet-metal forming techniques. The stainless-steel handle ensures structural stability while providing effective thermal insulation for practical use. Seren Jar embodies a moment in which the Korean aesthetic of “quietude” is translated into a contemporary sculptural language, its subtle surface grain and controlled reflections imparting a presence that is restrained yet deeply resonant.
