AUAG MetalCraft is a brand founded by metalsmith Ahn Min sik, creating high-end sterling silverware that balances artistic expression with everyday functionality. Working primarily with 92.5% sterling silver—often combined with natural materials such as ebony and rosewood—the brand produces handcrafted tableware and functional art objects shaped through traditional raising and forging techniques. Inspired by architectural structures and natural forms, Ahn’s work transforms the cool rigidity of silver into refined, tactile pieces designed to harmonize with daily life.

[Description]
<Warm Rest> is a silver teapot and warmer set designed around the concept of preserving warmth within cold metal.
Despite its geometric structure, the piece retains a subtle sense of temperature on the silver surface, where firm linear forms coexist with organic curves. The teapot and warmer interlock in a unified configuration, allowing function and form to resolve into a single sculptural composition. The work is produced using traditional sheet-metal techniques based on raising and forming. The handle and base incorporate ebony to provide thermal insulation while adding a warm visual balance to the cool character of silver. Warm Rest conveys a quiet moment of interaction between human and metal, the functional warmth of the teapot transfers through the silver, imprinting a sense of rest onto an otherwise austere material.
